Rubidium nitrate is a colorless cubic rhombus or triclinic crystal, which is hygroscopic, with a melting point of 310°C and a relative density of 3.11. At 161.4°C, it transforms from rhombus and triclinic crystals to cubic crystals. Rubidium nitrate is highly soluble in water, easily soluble in nitric acid, and slightly soluble in acetone.
